Hungry Howie’s Rolls Out Detroit-Style Pizza Across Michigan

Attention, Michigan pizza lovers, Hungry Howie’s is diving into the world of Detroit-style pizza.

From everything I have seen, this does not appear to be just a limited-time offering. It looks like Hungry Howie’s is making Detroit-style pizza a permanent part of the menu.

Reports indicate the Michigan-based pizza company will roll out Detroit-style pizza nationwide on Monday, September 15th, 2025. However, some Michigan locations are already serving them, and that includes Hungry Howie's in Fenton.

Hungry Howie's describes its Detroit-style pizza as follows,

Rectangular, with a thick, airy crust and crispy, caramelized cheese edges baked to perfection. In true Detroit fashion, the sauce goes on top - right over the cheese and toppings.
