Horrific Discovery: Dog Found Dead in Trash Bag at Michigan Park
What in the world is going on lately? We've seen more animal abuse cases in the last few weeks than anyone wants to see. Now we're hearing that a dog was recently found dead in a trash bag at a Michigan park.
We just told you a couple of weeks ago about the dog in Ann Arbor. Someone literally tossed their living dog into a dumpster at an apartment complex. Again, just thrown out with the trash like it was nothing.
In that heartbreaking case, the dog was rescued, but he had a large tumor on his side that couldn’t be treated. Sadly, he had to be euthanized. It was too late to save him, but at least he didn’t die alone in a pile of garbage.
Now here we are again. Another case. Another dog. And the same brutal gut-wrenching sense of why?
We could sit here screaming why, why, why until we're blue in the face, and we'll still never understand the way some people act and how they can toss their pets away like literal trash.
According to WDIV, on Thursday, April 17, animal control officers responded to a report of a dead animal at Everett Park in Lansing. What they found was a French bulldog, dead and stuffed inside a cat carrier. The carrier itself was placed in a garbage bag and left near the entrance of the park. WTF?!
There aren't many details, but Ingham County Animal Control is investigating.
