Summer weather is finally here, and things will really start to warm up over the next couple of weeks. It won't be long before your kids are itching to hit the beach, or better yet, one of Michigan's giant floating water parks.

Wait, you didn’t realize Michigan had floating water parks? With more than 11,000 inland lakes in the state, it would be pretty dumb if we didn’t have at least a few. Luckily, we’ve got more than that, and they look like a total blast.

If you're not familiar with what a floating water park is, let us break it down for you. Picture a giant inflatable playground set right on the lake, think bounce houses, slides, climbing walls, and balance beams, all floating on water. It’s basically your childhood jungle gym, but way bigger and floating on a lake.

Now, before you go thinking these are only for kids, think again. These floating parks are just as fun for teens and adults, maybe even a little more fun. They’ll definitely make you feel like a kid again, that’s for sure.
