The last thing you wanna do when you make a mistake while driving is being called out publicly for your mistake. Let’s face it, most of us have made a mistake or two while driving and done our best to get out of it.

Recently, a driver in Battle Creek was exposed by the city of Battle Creek, Michigan, Government Facebook page in a very Richard Attenborough-like fashion. A video recently uploaded showed a red PT cruiser having a tough time deciphering sidewalks from a road when they were near City Hall.

The video, which you can watch here, has blown up as the PT cruiser navigates through the sidewalks and different sidewalk paths near City Hall.

The footage that was captured from the security camera was enough for the city of Battle Creek to make a City Hall entrance sign with a concrete barrier to put in the middle of the sidewalk, just to make sure that a similar incident doesn’t happen again.

Behold: the urban driver in its natural habitat, gracefully navigating the city hall sidewalk...mistaking it for an ancient migratory route. That’s the third car to do it in less than a week. We’d turn it back into a road, but you know… zoning, committees, public comment, etc. In the meantime, let's keep it in the lot. Resist the call of the curb.

I’d be lying if I say I’ve never gone down a one-way street the wrong way, so I can’t really make fun of them too much. Still, it’s very funny to watch this car. Navigate around the sidewalks.
