University of Michigan Reportedly Signs New Head Football Coach
ESPN is reporting that the University of Michigan has signed a five-year deal with a new head football coach.
The news came on Friday evening, after several outlets had been speculating about the deal online.

Who is the University of Michigan's New Head Football Coach?
According to ESPN's Pete Thamel and Dan Wetzel, sources have told them that the University of Michigan has signed a deal with former Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham.
The deal has not yet been officially announced by the university or Whittingham, and the terms of the reported deal are unknown at this time.
Whittingham stepped down as the head coach of the Utah Utes just two days after former Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore was fired with cause. In his time with Utah, Whittingham had a 177-88 win-loss record over 21 seasons.
Why Was Former Michigan Head Football Coach Sherrone Moore Fired?
The move comes after UofM parted ways with former head coach Sherrone Moore back on December 10, after an internal investigation found that Moore had been involved in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.
Following Moore's termination, he was arrested and charged with felony home invasion, misdemeanor stalking, and breaking and entering.
Coach Biff Pogi has stepped in as interim head coach in the meantime. The Wolverines will take on the Texas Longhorns in the Citrus Bowl on December 31.
