A lot of people enjoy doing relaxing hobbies like sewing or crocheting.

Sewing is joining pieces of fabric together with a needle and thread, usually to make or repair clothes, pillows or curtains.
For example you could start with already-made fabric and use stitches to connect or shape it.

Crocheting is making making the actual fabric yourself from yarn using a hook, building it up stitch by stitch into things like hats, blankets, scarves, or toys.
A West Michigan woman has been making blankets for those in need of them but she's doing it using material most people would get rid of.
Renee Porter of Plainfield Township takes plastic bags and turns them into blankets and pillows and then gives them people experiencing homelessness and others who might need them.
She told Fox 17 that with these blankets she envisions people using them to pull them over their shoulders, keeping the snow and the rain off of them.

It’s so cool that she is taking something most people only use for things like picking up dog poop in the backyard and turning it into help for people in need
