If you’ve ever fallen down a rabbit hole of cat videos on the internet and wished you had someone to laugh along with you, CatVideoFest 2025 at Wealthy Theatre might be your new favorite event.

Coming to Grand Rapids on August 3, this 75-minute compilation is a curated celebration of the internet’s most delightful feline antics.

Featuring viewer-submitted videos from around the world, CatVideoFest is part viral comedy, part community bonding experience (and yes, it’s as adorable as it sounds.)

This isn’t just about watching cats being weird and wonderful (though there’s plenty of that). CatVideoFest is also a feel-good event with a mission. 10% of all ticket sales will go to Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, a local rescue that helps find homes for felines who need a fresh start.

It’s a rare opportunity to do good while laughing at cats stuck in boxes, cats playing the piano, and probably at least one cat falling off a counter.

Wealthy Theatre, known for showing offbeat film events like mountain climbing nights and fishing film fests, is the perfect venue for a light-hearted night out. And let’s be honest, watching cute videos is fun, but watching them with other people? That's even better.

Whether you bring your fellow cat-obsessed friends or come solo, you’re bound to leave with a smile (and maybe a few new friends who also love a dramatic meow).
