We Finally Know When Raising Cane’s Will Open in Grand Rapids
If you’ve ever found yourself making the drive to Lansing just to get your hands on a box of crispy chicken fingers, buttery Texas toast, and that famous Cane’s sauce, you're not the only one.
Raising Cane’s has built a devoted following for its simple but crave-worthy menu and now, Grand Rapids fans are about to get their own location.
The Louisiana-founded chain keeps things straightforward: chicken finger combos, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, and bread that’s basically an addiction waiting to happen.
With a reputation for fast, fresh, and no-frills meals, it’s no surprise Raising Cane’s has become a national obsession.
Work is moving quickly at the new site on 28th Street SE near Lake Eastbrook Boulevard, where crews are transforming the former Outback Steakhouse into West Michigan’s first Raising Cane’s.
While we can’t see much past their construction fence, someone asked what’s going on.
So, when can you finally skip the road trip and grab a box combo here in GR?
According to a report from WOODTV, Raising Cane’s is eyeing a late fall opening for its 28th Street spot. That means it won’t be long before Grand Rapids residents can join the Cane’s craze without leaving town.
New signage is already in place, giving hungry drivers a glimpse of what’s coming, and everyone is pretty excited especially since the company has also confirmed plans for a Portage location and another in Mount Pleasant.
