Help Battle ALS By Biking, Walking, Running, Or Rolling At Pedals For ALS
A fun event is happening soon in West Michigan and there's still time to enter or help out.
The Pedals for ALS event is a big fundraiser happening at Cannonsburg Ski Area on Sunday September 15th.
The event is organized by the Susan Mast ALS Foundation, with the goal to raise awareness and funds for families affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurodegenerative disease.
Different Events At Pedals For ALS
Participants can choose from a variety of activities, including:
- 100k Iron Horse Road Ride
- 40-mile Road Ride
- 20-mile Road Ride
- 32-mile Gravel Ride
- 10-20 Mile Mountain Bike Ride
- 5k Run/Walk/Roll
- 1-Mile Walk/Roll
Bring The Family
The event is designed to be family-friendly, encouraging people of all ages to join in the fun.
After the rides and runs, attendees can enjoy an after party with lunch, drinks, music, and activities for children, such as balloon artists and face painting.
Volunteers Needed
Volunteers play such an important part in the success of Pedals for ALS, and there are numerous opportunities for individuals and businesses to get involved, whether through sponsorship, donations, or direct participation.
