
Former Ravenna Teacher Among Those Arrested in Child Sex Probe
A recent five day sting by the U.S. Department of Justice has resulted in the arrest of 205 suspected child sex offenders.
Twelve of those arrested were in Michigan, and seven of those were in West Michigan.

Operation Restore Justice not only led to hundreds of arrests but also resulted in the rescue of 115 children.
What Are They Being Charged With
These are the seven people that were arrested in West Michigan and what they've been charged with.
- Christian Vanderveen, of Comstock Park, was charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
- Paul Masko, of Grand Haven, was indicted for three counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
- Terry Hopkins, of Muskegon Heights, was indicted for possession of child pornography.
- Martell Scott-Ware, of Grand Rapids, was indicted on criminal charges related to alleged sexual exploitation of a child.
- Shauntelle Blackmon, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, was indicted on criminal charges related to alleged sexual exploitation of a child and also faces a separate charge of sex trafficking of a child.
- Joseph Brandon, of Knoxville, Tennessee, was arrested by criminal complaint on charges related to the sexual exploitation of a child.
- George Edward Lebaron, of Egelston Township, was arrested by criminal complaint on charges related to alleged coercion and enticement of a minor, receipt of child pornography, and possession of child pornography.

Attorney General Pam Bondi made it clear that they're just getting started.
“The Department of Justice will never stop fighting to protect victims — especially child victims — and we will not rest until we hunt down, arrest and prosecute every child predator who preys on the most vulnerable among us.”
