
Meet Charlie, the Mini Horse Bringing Big Smiles to Seniors
The holiday season can be tough for many in West Michigan

Thankfully there are people in West Michigan doing all they can to make people feel loved and seen.

Ronica Froese, who is the president and founder of Little Horses Big Smiles is one of those people.
She has four mini therapy horses named Charlie, Fred, George, and Stanley.
These mini horses visit healthcare facilities across West Michigan at no cost to spread joy to everyone they meet.
Recently she brought Charlie the therapy horse to see the residents at The Brook of Cedar Springs to brighten their holiday and cheer people up.

Charlie’s handler, Ronica Froese, shared with Wood TV how much Charlie means to the people he visits.
If I wouldn’t have picked him out we wouldn’t be where we are. He was meant for this job, and I love what we do,” said Froese, president and founder of Little Horses Big Smiles.
