Michigan Street Poutine Week

Michigan Street Poutine Week was started back in early 2020 (JUST before the COVID-19 pandemic). This celebration of the Canadian delicacy is the brainchild of the folks behind the Michigan Street Business Corridor. While Poutine Week had to take a break in 2022, it came back strong in 2023 and 2024. And this year, it's bigger and better than ever.

How to Participate in Michigan Street Poutine Week

If you want to eat your way through Michigan Poutine Week, it's easy! Plus, you can get this sweet t-shirt.

Your first step is to pick up a Poutine Passport. The good news is that you can get one at any of the participating restaurants. Once you've filled out your passport and voted for your favorite, you simply drop your completed passport off at 7 Monks, and they'll give you your shirt.

If you don't want to have to walk or drive around to all of the participating locations (because, let's face it, after trying a couple of poutines, you're going to be very full and probably a little tired), you can make your way around on The Gravy Train the last weekend of Poutine Week. The train will run during the final weekend of Poutine Week (October 3 and 4) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will make stops all along Michigan Street.
