I was so freaking nervous as I walked with her along the Lake Michigan shoreline at sunset.

I held her by my side and told her how much I loved her, and after a few minutes that felt like an eternity, I finally mustered up the courage and got down on one knee, and asked her to spend the rest of her life with me.

To my surprise, she said yes.

There were a ton of people around and I was so nervous, but probably not as nervous as this Michigan man who proposed to his girlfriend on LIVE TV.

On Friday, December 9th Kiyerra Lake, who anchors the morning news on WLNS, got a giant surprise while on air.

Her boyfriend Jordan proposed to her on set during the morning news show. Kiyerra’s co-anchor Jorma Duran helped with making the proposal happen and filmed what was happening on Facebook Live.

She Said Yes!

Kiyerra said yes to Jordan's on-air proposal and later shared the special moment on her Facebook page saying,

"My birthday weekend is off to a great start. Many of you watched this live.. but my best friend proposed to me this morning."

A big congratulations to the happy couple!
