The Wait Is Over: Michigan’s First 90-Degree Day Expected This Week
Many Michiganders are excited that Summer officially arrives on Friday June 20th.

With that, we're getting longer days with more sunshine and a nice boost in temperature.
We've already had several days with temperatures in the 80s, but when will Michigan finally have its first 90-degree day of the year?
The way things are looking it could be happening soon.
Last year in Grand Rapids, we saw our first 90-degree day on June 17th.
But in years past, it's taken a lot longer to hit that high.
Back in 1907, the first 90-degree day didn't happen until August 11th.
That is insane to me!

Other West Michigan cities, on average, see a 90-degree day before Grand Rapids.
In Kalamazoo, the average first 90-degree day is June 15th. Last year, it was June 13th.
Muskegon's average first 90-degree day is quite a bit later: July 3rd. Last year, it was June 16th.
When Will West Michigan See Its First 90-Degree Day?
So when can we expect to see the temperature finally hit 90 in Michigan?
According to Fox 17, there are several chances this week for the temperature to hit 90 degrees.
On Saturday, there is a slight chance that parts of West Michigan will hit a high temperature of 90.
But on Sunday, there is an even better chance for that to finally happen.
