What Is Magnum P.I. Day At Comerica Park?

The Detroit Tigers Magnum P.I. Day at Comerica Park is an annual fan-based event where Detroit Tigers fans and fans of the 1980s TV show "Magnum, P.I." come together to celebrate the show and its star, Tom Selleck.

The event is typically held on the last Sunday home game in August.

In the TV show, Magnum often wore a Detroit Tigers baseball cap, which held sentimental value because his late father was a big Tigers fan.

At Sunday's game Tom Selleck threw out the first pitch, took a bunch of pictures with fans dressed up as Magnum P.I. on the field and he even took the time to hop on the Detroit Tigers TV broadcast for a fun interview.

I've never taken part in Magnum P.I. Day but I'm looking forward to joining in on the fun next year with a bunch of my friends.
