Historic Hovey House in Muskegon Now For Sale

Muskegon's Hovey House is hard to miss - the beautiful Queen Anne Victorian home stands tall and proud on Houston Ave., not too far from Hackley Park.

The home has stood on Houston Ave. since it was built back in 1889 for lumber baron Horatio N. Hovey. It hasn't always been just a home, though. In fact, while it currently has a large residential apartment, it also contains ten professional office spaces. While the home was originally built for Hovey and his family, they only lived there until 1903, when they relocated to the Detroit area.

Architecturally, this place is breathtaking. It has that amazing rounded tower that we associate with a Queen Anne home, with a porch that wraps around it, and a very distinct red/orange roof.
