Think You Can Dance? Gold Team Holding Tryouts Soon

If you’ve ever watched a timeout at a Grand Rapids Gold game and thought, “I could totally do that,” this might be your moment.

The Gold Dance Team (the high-energy crew that brings the hype to every home game) is on the lookout for new talent to light up the court this season. Whether you’ve got slick hip-hop footwork, a cheer background, or the pom power of a halftime pro, now’s your chance to shine.

Tryouts are coming up soon, and they’re looking for performers who aren’t just skilled but also bold, confident, and ready to bring the fun to a packed arena full of Michigan basketball fans. All genders are welcome, and you must be at least 18 years old by the date of tryouts.

If you make the team, expect to be part of an incredible community, perform in front of thousands, and represent one of West Michigan’s most exciting professional sports teams. So if you've ever wanted to chase your dreams here in Grand Rapids, this is your chance.

How to Audition for the Grand Rapids Gold Dance Team:

Location: Practice Facility, 4195 E Paris SE, Grand Rapids, MI
Deadline to Register: August 23 by 8:00 AM EDT
Video Auditions Accepted: Be sure to include a 30 - 45 second dance routine, recorded from the front with no edits.

• Arrive performance-ready: fitted shorts, crop top, dance shoes, and game-day hair and makeup
