A New Restaurant Appears to Be Taking Over a Prime Fulton Street Spot
You don't have to be a foodie to be bummed out by how many restaurants have closed their doors in Grand Rapids this year.

Last night I went out with my wife and friends to The Greenwell for one last meal before they closed permanently on Saturday, August 16th.

On my way home I noticed something that looked different so I pulled over to take a closer look.
Curry Kitchen located at 961 Fulton Street E has been closed since my wife and I bought our house just down the road a few years ago.
But it looks like something is happening, and a new restaurant could soon take its place.
There is now paper up on the windows that wasn't there before.
And the former sign above the entrance that once said Curry Kitchen now has new name and logo on it that reads Dirty Plate Bistro.
I walked up to the covered windows and tried to see if I could get a look at the inside.
After reaching as high as I could, I was able to snap this picture of the inside.
I'm not sure if this is what it's looked like since Curry Kitchen closed or if new work is being done.
I searched online and was able to find this Facebook post from The Dirty Plate Bistro
While I'm not a betting man, my gut tells me this will be their new location.
If so I can't wait to check them out.
