New Authentic Thai Restaurant Opens in Grand Rapids Next Month
Looking for a new restaurant to grab a bite? An authentic Thai food eatery is opening up in Grand Rapids soon!
Thai Table is located at 950 Wealthy St. The owners say they aim to serve happiness and smiles along with delicious food.

They've been sharing pictures of their yummy food offerings on Facebook. While the official menu has yet to be shared, it appears Thai Table will serve several authentic dishes, like “Pu Pad Pong Karee”- a Thai dish consisting of stir-fried crab with curry powder.
Yam Woon Sen is a Thai salad made with glass noodles and usually includes shrimp, ground pork, or chicken, along with lime juice, fish sauce, chili peppers, and garlic.

It sounds like multiple soups will be on the menu, including Tom Yum which is known for its spicy and sour flavors.
Thai Table will also serve Pad Thai, curry, salads, stir-fry dishes, Thai street food dishes, sushi, and Boba Tea.
According to Crain's Grand Rapids, the owner Pennapa (Mimi) Wichian and her husband Eakkaskas Koasa-Ard moved from Thailand to Grand Rapids at the end of last year. The head chef is from Thailand as well.
They plan to open the restaurant, which will seat approximately 50 people, July 20, 2024.
