A group of people driving off-road vehicles on a roadway in northern Michigan were allegedly shot at by a man 25 to 30 times. A suspect has been arrested.

Off-road vehicles have never been more popular in Michigan than they are right now ever since side-by-sides hit the market several years ago. Groups of people get together to go off-roading all across Michigan in record numbers, but apparently one man is not happy about it.

Some Michiganders use a side-by-side as a main vehicle unless they need to make a long trip or use a freeway. I drive US 131 every day and I see trailers filled with side-by-sides heading north to ride the trails. You will also see these used on regular roads and one Michigan man was not happy about that, and some off-roaders found out the hard way.
