John Harbaugh is the current head coach of the Baltimore Ravens and has the most wins in the franchise's history. John has been coaching the Ravens for 13 years and has one Super Bowl win over his brother Jim Harbaugh when Jim coached the San Francisco 49ers.

Jim Harbaugh coached the San Francisco 49ers for 4 seasons and took the team to one Super Bowl losing to his brother's Baltimore Ravens.  This was the first time in NFL history that two brothers were coaches of the opposing Super Bowl teams.

Needless to say that coaching football is definitely in the blood of the Harbaugh family.

Long before Jim Harbaugh was head coach of the Wolverines, he played college football at Michigan from 1983 to 1986. Harbaugh then went on to play 14 seasons in the NFL with the Chicago Bears. Harbaugh also quarterbacked for the Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Ravens. After college coaching stints with the San Diego Toreros and the Stanford Cardinals, he moved on to coach the NFL's San Francisco 49ers. After 4 years of coaching the 49ers, Harbaugh returned to his alma mater, as head coach of the University of Michigan.

Harbaugh has done a great job bringing Michigan to championship-level football. Harbaugh got the job in 2014. In the last two seasons, the Wolverines have advanced to the playoffs. When you coach a team this good in college it is no surprise when NFL teams come knocking.

Back in December of 2022, Harbaugh was talked to by the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos organizations regarding the two teams' open slots for head coaching jobs. Although these were not actual interviews for the job they did peak enough curiosity for Harbaugh to have the conversations.

According to WOOD, Harbaugh will be staying at Michigan after he had spoken with the University of Michigan President Santa Ono who confirmed he will remain head coach. Harbaugh said, "My heart is at the University of Michigan. I once heard a wise man say, 'Don't try to out-happy, happy.'"
