The last couple of seasons have seen Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions completely flip the script on what fans have come to expect from this team, making them one of the NFL's premier teams. After last year's disappointing loss to the Commanders in the playoffs, the team's Super Bowl aspirations have never been higher.

But this season hasn't exactly met anyone's expectations, and the 8-5 Lions are facing an uphill battle into the offseason this year.

However, the team's star QBJared Goff, lit a fire under the team (and fans') feet during the post-game interview after they beat the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, December 4th.

He made a promise to fans to give them something they have been begging for for years if they manage to turn things around and bring home the Lombardi Trophy. Yes, just as the crowd was chanting during the TNF Nightcap, Jared Goff will take his shirt off if they win the Super Bowl.

You see, unlike many of the guys in the locker room during Dan Campbell's famous post-win Gameballs, Goff has never been seen without a shirt. It has become a bit of a movement within the fanbase to see the proper and soft-spoken Goff rip that shirt off and show us what he's rockin underneath.

Things were at a boiling point during the Nightcap, with fans chanting "TAKE IT OFF" so loudly that it led to the commentators addressing the curious situation on camera. Is this potential promise enough to propel the Lions into the playoffs, and possibly even a Super Bowl?

Only time will tell, but we'll remember this, Jared.
