Holy Sheetz! 4 New Sheetz Locations Coming to Michigan
We always hear about Buc-ees gas stations but you don't hear much about another great gas station with 4 new locations coming to Michigan.
What is Sheetz?
Buc-ees gas stations and convenience stores seem to get all the press when a new location opens even though there isn't one in Michigan. Another similar company often overlooked is opening 4 new locations in Michigan.
A year ago I had to travel to Kentucky for a funeral was driving overnight to make it on time and needed some gas. I was driving in southern Ohio when I saw a Sheetz gas station and convenience store that was all lit up and the gas was cheap. I needed to go to the restroom so I went inside and was amazed at the food they offered. That stop helped a late-night traveler but also earned a new customer. Affordable gas, great food, super clean restrooms and open all night.
Sheetz has been offering 24/7 service since the 1980s. The chain is based out of Pennsylvania but has over 700 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, and now coming to Michigan.

Sheetz Adding 4 New Locations to Michigan
The first Sheets Michigan location opened in Romulus on Wich Road in the spring of 2024. Michiganders loved it so much that 4 more locations are coming to the Great Lakes state.
According to WXYZ, the 4 new Sheetz locations will land in metro Detroit at the addresses below:
- 45011 Garfield Road in Macomb
- 20623 Eureka Road in Taylor
- 8200 Telegraph Road in Taylor
- 31925 Van Kyke Avenue in Warren
Unlike Buc-ees, Sheetz will soon have 5 locations in Michigan and hopefully, the company sees the value in West Michigan because I would love to have one of these on my way to and from work while driving on 131. The gas is the cheapest and the food is the best.
