Slide Down a 200-Foot Illuminated Hill
Bower's School Farm in Bloomfield Hills spans 93 acres and is home to gardens, livestock, and year-round educational programs. Winter Park gives visitors a rare chance to explore the farm after dark, bundled up, while enjoying an illuminated winter adventure.

The centerpiece of Winter Park is the 200-foot tubing hill lit up at night, creating a magical, glowing experience. The hill’s special surface works even when there isn’t natural snow, so you can enjoy the glow no matter the weather!

Explore Winter Park Even Without Tubing
You don’t need a ticket just to enjoy Winter Park. Walk around, warm up by the fire pits, visit the Farm Store, or say hello to the animals. Tickets are only required if you want to go snow tubing.
Plan Your Visit: Dates, Hours, and Tickets
Winter Park runs January 9 through March 1, 2026. Hours are Friday 4 p.m.–9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m.–9 p.m.

Tubing tickets cost $17 per person for 50 minutes. You select a time slot when you buy your ticket, and tubes are provided. Riders must walk up the hill with their tubes before sliding back down. Only one rider per tube is allowed, and participants should be at least 46 inches tall. Tickets sell quickly, so grab them early!
Sensory-Friendly Tubing: A Calmer Glow
For those who prefer a quieter experience, Bowers offers Sensory-Friendly Tubing sessions. During these sessions, lights and music are reduced to make the glowing hill easier to enjoy. Dates: January 25 and February 21, 2 p.m.–2:50 p.m.
