If you drive around West Michigan enough, you know how easy it is to miss things on 28th Street when you're focused on traffic. I must have driven past Bosna Express a million times without realizing what I was missing at 128 28th St SW in Wyoming.

Some folks are saying in the comments it's already closed, though it is still listed as open on Google.

Looking through the comments, I am definitely not the only local who missed out. One lifelong resident admitted they lived here their entire life and never managed to stop by. But for those who did know, it was widely called the best restaurant for Bosnian food in Grand Rapids. Regulars are swapping stories of childhood birthdays and the incredible hospitality Damir always showed his customers.

The good news is that the family legacy isn't going away. Damir's sons actually opened up their sister restaurant, Živio, back in 2019 in Eastown. I have been to Živio myself and absolutely loved it, so I'm glad it's staying put.
