100.5 The River's Andy Rent is touring Hawaii with YMT Vacations and about three dozen people for nearly two weeks.

They are all on the Hawaii Kings Tour, a 13-day Hawaiian escape.

The group has been on the island of Kaua'i, and this morning is scheduled to head off to Maui.

Kaua'i is is Hawaii's Island of Discovery, it includes natural features such as the Wailua River, Waimea Canyon and Napali Coast, with locales ranging from villages like Hanapepe and Old Koloa Town to sunny Poipu Beach.

The Napali Coast features emerald green pinnacles towering above Kaua'i's northwest side for 17 miles.

It includes Nā Pali Coast State Park, which covers 6,175 acres.

Hiking is considered among the best ways to explore and traipse this part of Kaua'i.

The Kalalau Trail is an 11-mile trail that starts at Kee Beach, crosses five valleys and ends at the secluded Kalalau Beach. Many hikers choose to break the hike into two days, setting up camp at the Hanakoa beach and then headed to Kalalau the next day, according to the Hawaii Tourism Authority.

Boat cruises, air adventures and kayaking treks are also offered to explore the majestic and panoramic locale.
