Grand Rapids Power Outage Affects Over 2,700

WZZM-13 reports a two-car accident has created a power outage in Grand Rapids affecting 2,701 Consumers Energy customers.

The outage was reported at 2:05 p.m. today after a two-car crash on 4 Mile Road at Miramar. Power is expected to be restored by 5:50 p.m.

The road is currently closed at Balsam due to the accident.

The outage runs between 3 Mile Road and 4 Mile Road, west to Plainfield Ave. and east to between Dean Lake Ave. and East Beltline.
