With a fresh layer of snow on the ground, you might be wondering about your commute and if the plows have cleared the highways.  Well, good news, The Michigan Department of Transportation now has it set up so you can see where the snowplows are and even watch them do their thing with camera’s installed on the plows.

The program went public statewide at the beginning of the winter season. Through their website, you can see on the map where the plows are and if they have a camera that you can check out.

Hopefully, this helps next time you're trying to figure out whether to lie to your boss and say you can get out of your street or if you can make the drive.
