YMCA Hosting More-Self-Less “I Dream Beautiful” Party

Saw this story earlier on WZZM13, The River's news and weather partner, and wanted to share it with you.  It's for an upcoming community event and a great non-profit organization working to benefit kids and families in West Michigan.

They're called "More-Self-Less" and they're having the "I Dream Beautiful" Christmas party on Sunday at the downtown YMCA.

From the WZZM13 website:

Area school principals nominated students to be a part of the event and community members sponsor the children in buying them Christmas presents. Those same community members attend a dinner and celebration at the YMCA Sunday, December 16th.

The public helped purchase items like sleeping bags, household items, and gas cards, as well as new bicycles for each child.

The public is invited to attend the event when the children come out to receive their bikes in the parking lot of the downtown YMCA at 8:00pm to sing Christmas carols.
