It's Restaurant Week Grand Rapids!  I've been telling you for the past few weeks about Restaurant Week, moved into August this year to take advantage of our great Michigan foods at harvest time.

It's 10 days that over 60 area restaurants create special 3-course meals, and it ends this Saturday.  Most are offering several selected 3-course meals for $25, and some offer 2 3-course meals for $25.

That is the case at Pietro's, two delicious meals for $25!  Are you kidding?  Nope.

Last week, my wife Kathy and I decided to have dinner at Pietro's. We hadn't been there in a while, so wanted to get back.  Actually, I wasn't thinking about Restaurant Week, but when we got there they were offering their special menu, as well as the regular menu.  To our surprise, Pietro's deal is two, 3-course dinners for $25.  What a treat.  And, what food.

You have your choice of an antipasto to share, your choice from four or five selected entrees for yourself, and choice of dessert to share.  Oh, man, we couldn't eat it all so had to take some home.  Which, I can't wait to go home to eat the leftovers.

I had the Trio entree, Italian sausage, specially seasoned chicken breast and a filet, along with fresh Michigan vegetables.  Yum!  Kathy had her favorite, Fettuccine Micheal.  Need I say more.

Pietro's and the other 60 plus restaurants will continue their special menu's through this Saturday, so you had better get going.  I'd make a reservation for sure since many are booking up.

Now, where will we eat next?  What a delicious dilemma.
