Woman ‘Selfies’ Her Stroke To Prove To Doctors She Isn’t Just Stressed [Video]

A Canadian woman took video of herself having a stroke in the hopes that it would help herprove to doctors that her symptoms were not just stress-related.

Stacey Yerpes started recording herself when she felt a tingling sensation while she was driving. She turned on her phone’s video camera began describing everything that she was feeling and recorded the entire thing.

She wasn’t doing this to become some sort of viral video star, she needed to film her stroke to prove that it was happening to her doctors. She had recently gone to the hospital with similar symptoms but doctors said her symptoms were simply a result of stress.
