Former DcTalk front man TobyMac brings his show Unplugged: A Night Of Stories & Songs, to the Central Wesleyan Church, April 19th, 7:30pm. Toby joins me on the air for Faith Hope & Love Songs, 9-11am and 7-9pm EST Sunday.  Listen Live! I always love talking to this guy and I just can't wait to meet him!

I still find it hard to believe that West Michigan will actually have the opportunity to see him in such an intimate setting.  Toby has played the Van Andel Arena a number of times and what does that seat, I think it's something like, 13-14 thousand people?   That's one of his smaller venues!

We have such a unique opportunity here in West Michigan!  The name of his tour this time around is Unplugged: A Night Of Stories And Songs and I'll be giving away tickets away to see this acoustic show!  To win em' be listening to Faith Hope and Love Songs, March 11th and 18th and win a pair!  (Faith Hope and Love Songs airs Sundays 9-11am and 7-9pm EST.)

By the way, I had the chance to talk to Toby and I told him the name of his tour, "A Night Of Stories And Songs" intrigued me.  I asked him to tell me a little bit about it, and he said it really is UNPLUGGED.  He has a Wurlitzer piano and a few of his musician guys backing him.  The plan is to sit around, talk about the music, the inspiration for the songs, connect more with the audience, and SING!  It will be intimate yes, but also energetic, passionate & intense. It reminds me a lot of the Unplugged Series that aired on MTV and VH1.  That was some the best television ever!   You got the chance to learn more about the artist personally and it's sort of an inside look into the whole process.  Get your tickets HERE!

This is one show I just cannot wait to see!  Toby told me the reaction on this tour so far has been amazing!  He shared with me that he's talked to fans who have seen them play 8 or 9 times but have said this was their very favorite show.  I get that!  Nothing like seeing genius in the making....and getting up close and personal with TobyMac.
