Why Are Gas Prices So High In Grand Rapids Michigan? Is It Because Of The Holiday?

They say that the gas prices will continue to rise throughout the summer.  Some numbers that have been thrown around are close to $5 a gallon.  Maybe the gas prices are not going up because the price of a barrel of oil continues to rise.  Could it instead, be something else?
