Who Would Give Back A Pay Raise? Some City Employee’s Are!

Cue the applause!  Some city leaders were recently given between a 4% and 5% pay raise but they are now doing their part to help the city of Grand Rapids.  City Manager, Greg Sundstrum, said on WZZM13 tonight, "This doesn't solve the city's financial problems but it sets the tone for this organization and this community that we all need to have a  shared sacrifice to move forward."  Nice to see these city workers are heeding the Governor's wishes that all public employee pay rates be adjusted.  These Grand Rapids Public Employee's have stepped forward and are setting the bar!  The city manager and city attorney will join with the city clerk and city treasurer in this Give Back Plan. Kudos to all of you!!!  And thank you too...
