Someone named "Mr. Wonderful' sent Kim Carson some flowers at work. We all were asking who they were from and all Kim would say was, "Mr. Wonderful." Way to go Mr. W, you can't go wrong with flowers...especially around February 14.  Read on gentlemen.  Here's some sage Valentine's wisdom f rom someone who's been there.Kim was on the air Thursday relating how "hard it is for guys around Valentine's Day."  Expectations and the stakes are very high for couples on Valentine's.  When she was much younger, Kim admits to breaking up with a boyfriend who did not buy flowers for Valentine's day.

"We were headed down that road, anyway and when it didn't happen on Valentine's day, I broke up with him."   Kim Carson

The River's mid-day voice says it's not that way anymore.

"I love getting fresh flowers any day.  I buy them for my house often.  I don't have to have them for Valentine's Day, any more.  It's not a deal breaker."

For most women, Carson believes it really is the thought that counts.

"My parents have been married over 60 years and they celebrated the special day with cards every year.  Now, they exchange old valentines that they saved  and spare the expense.  The feelings are still the same, without the added expense."

Mr. Wonderful you did good!
