What’s the Difference Between the Homeless and you and me? Not Much [Video]

This is a very cool short film from filmmaker Tyler Bridges. He has created  "What’s the Difference" in which homeless guys get a shower, a shave and a haircut. Simple. Bridges said, "We tend to look at someone suffering from homelessness and see him as a monster or someone you can't relate to at all. But if you give him a shower and a shave and a fresh cut, he looks just like you or me. There isn't that big a difference."

You know what? He's right. Take a look.

Bridges says one of the homeless men in the video was brought to tears after seeing his new look.

And, despite their rough pasts, many of the video subjects left the shoot with a sense of hope.

"Our video had two goals," explained Bridges. "One was to humanize what it is to be homeless, and the other was to raise awareness of what you can do to get involved." (People)
