Summer is vacation time, we are blessed in Michigan to have dozens of amazing vacation locations in our state.  Whether you are visiting Lake Michigan nearby or taking the long drive to the Upper Peninsula, you're sure to find something for everyone.

What is your favorite vacation spot in Michigan?

So many choices.  Day trips to Grand Haven and Saugatuck are great options.  So is visiting Mackinac Island or Comerica Park to watch the Tigers.  But for me, if you still get good cell phone reception...it's not really a vacation.

The Upper Peninsula and Pictured Rocks are among my favorite places to visit.  Pictured Rocks' Sable Falls is my favorite unsung Michigan vacation spot.  A week in Pictured Rocks is my choice, but I may need to borrow some money for gas before going.
