Parents are used to hearing cries and squeaks and squeals at home.  Kids make lots of sounds.  Over time, parents learn to understand what each of those unique sounds mean.  Those sounds can help a parent.

When those cries and squeaks and squeals come from a toy, that's a different story.  It's just annoying.

What is the most annoying toy your kids have ever had?

I recently bought a few small boxes of "Mexican Jumping Beans" at an airport gift shop to give to my kids.  The kids liked them.  The beans sat in our house jumping in their hard plastic cases for days.  Jumping and jumping and jumping!  Tink!  Tink!  Tink!  The never-ending sound of the jumping beans got so bad we had to move them to another room just to be able to have some peace at night.

The jumping beans are only the tip of the iceberg.

My 4-year-old boy loves cars.  Most of his cars take batteries and make some type of sound.  There are times when the decibels in our house rival that of a NASCAR pit area.

And don't get me started on Zhu Zhu Pets.

Seems that the most annoying toys for parents usually take batteries.  It can be a relief when those batteries run out, but that doesn't work for every toy.  Movies, musical instruments, and even jumping beans can get on one's nerves from time-to-time.
