If you're passing out candy on Halloween you're sure to see tons of cute little kids in costume.  There will be a few older kids too.

How old is too old for trick-or-treating?

Often older kids or adults are out to supervise younger children on Halloween.  That's fine.  But is it OK for them to collect candy?

Is their so-called "brother" really at home sick?  Or are they just desperate to satisfy their desire for more candy corn?

I think once you're in high school, it's best to stay home.  However, if you REALLY love Halloween, are polite, and actually dress in costume...I'll let it slide.

It's the older kids, who are on a mission to find a few large candy bars and put almost no effort into their costumes, that are in question.
