Every week, the Humane Society of West Michigan brings in a new furry friend for me to meet. This week, Tammy brought in Meredith, an adorable little kitty, to meet me.

Meredith is a 6-year-old gray domestic long-haired cat with just the sweetest disposition. In fact, she was a little hard to get a picture of because she was too busy trying to snuggle. She's already spayed, so she's ready to find her forever home, and would fit in well in just about any home. You can find out more about Meredith on the Humane Society's website, or by calling them directly at 616-453-8900.

Tammy also talked with me about the 12 Hour Spring Carnival of Savings they have coming up at the end of the month. It's on April 27th from 10:30am until 10:30pm at the Humane Society (3077 Wilson Dr., Walker, MI 49534). There will be food, games, prizes, and of course all of the wonderful pets that the Humane Society has up for adoption.

Another great feature of the Spring Carnival will be a special guest speaker. Luis Carlos Montalvan, who is the New York Times Best Selling Author of the book "Until Tuesday" will be there to speak along with his dog, Tuesday.

You can find more details on the Spring Carnival of Savings on the Humane Society's website, or by calling them at 616-453-8900.
