WET NOSE WEDNESDAY: “Maggie” the Mastiff Mix

Kim from the Humane Society of West Michigan dropped by the The River studios for Wet Nose Wednesday. She brought along an adorable dog named “Maggie”. “Maggie” is a 4 year old Mastiff mix dog. Being part Mastiff, she is a bigger dog...weighing in at about 85 pounds. She is good with other dogs, but probably best in a home without cats.

There are more than just dogs and cats at the Humane Society looking for homes. Currently they have a house pig that is up for adoption! Her name is “Hamma Montana”. She sounds adorable!

Kim also mentioned that it is the last week for the special they are currently running: Dogs 5 months old or over are just $75 to adopt (that’s $100 off the normal adoption fee). The dogs come micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and up to date on all their vaccinations.
