Howie, a Pit Bull/Terrier mix, visited the studios today for Wet Nose Wednesday.Trudy Ender, Executive Director of the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Howie in.  He is a very loving and playful dog and would make many families or individuals a wonderful pet.

Howie had been abused by his former owner, but with love and care, has come through it very well, and is ready for a new beginning.

You can contact the Humane Society on their website, www.hswestmi.org, and by phone at 616-453-8900.

Trudy stressed the importance of proper care of your pets during the harsh winter we're going through.  Two key elements she mentioned, if it's too cold for you, it's too cold for your pets, so take care to not have them outside too much.  Also, hydration.  It's key for them to have water available at all times.
