West Michigan: Why We Love Baseball

The West Michigan Whitecaps came back in the bottom of the ninth and won their home opener 13-12.  It was the perfect day for baseball.  Thousands of  West Michigan folks came to 5/3 ballpark for one of the most memorable home openers in Whitecaps history.  Andy, Chuck, Kim and I were there too soaking up the action and the sunshine.  I saw so many smiling faces at the ballpark -- Young and Old --everyone seemed to be having a great time enjoying America's pastime.  I've been to games before where the experience has been... let's just say..less fun.  Everything from the food ,to the entertainment between innings,  right down to the greeter at the gate was top notch.  The Whitecaps organization should write the textbook on customer service.  It was a good day at the ballpark!
