West Michigan Whitecaps To Pay Tribute To Negro Leagues

How cool is this!  The West Michigan Whitecaps will be paying tribute to the Negro Leagues at this Wednesday's game. (The photo is an actual sign from the day.  It is now a part of the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown)

It has been more than 50 years since Willie "Honey" Honicutt & Nathan "Sonny" Weston have been in each others company.  Willie and Nathan are two former Negro League baseball players and they will finally be reunited  at Fifth Third Ballpark on Wednesday night when the West Michigan Whitecaps pay tribute to the Negro Leagues.
