This is the best news I've heard so far, this year!  73 Michigan Marines from the 6th Engineer Support Battalion will be arriving back home, safe and sound, from Afghanistan today.

This will be the first time they will see their families in months.

One Muskegon man has something extra to look forward to, the day his battalion left last July, his wife found out she was pregnant.  She's been mailing ultrasounds to him and is expected to deliver that baby in about a month.  Boy, will that little hear some stories about that pregnancy growing up.

11 of the 73 Marines are from Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Holland, Kalamazoo, and Portage.

If you'd like to greet them the Marines are expected to return around 3pm to the Marine Corps Reserve Home Training Center in Battle Creek.
