The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce designed the series in collaboration with like-minded organizations including emerge West Michigan, Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women (GROW), the Hispanic Center of Western Michigan, Spring GR and GR Current, all of which offer business development and entrepreneurial resources in English. The first event in the series will take place 6/25/2015, 12, LINC (1167 Madison Ave SE Grand Rapids, MI).

“Though West Michigan has an abundance of business development resources for entrepreneurs, there is a gap in resources for the Spanish-speaking community,” said Jorge Gonzalez, executive director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “More and more Latino owned businesses are opening their doors in West Michigan and we are excited to partner with like-minded organizations to offer the same resources to the Hispanic community to make a significant economic impact on our region.”

The workshops are designed to inform, educate and motivate Latino entrepreneurs and to aid in developing strong, sustainable and impactful businesses for long term success. MedioDía- Infórmate y Actívate series will be held once a month in Spanish.
