Today is Go Orange Day!

People across West Michigan are wearing orange to raise awareness of childhood hunger.

We joined Kids’ Food Basket and dozens of schools, businesses and organizations by wearing orange today.

Orange is the national color of hunger awareness.

Enjoy a small sampling of photos of people going orange around West Michigan and learn more ways to support Kids' Food Basket and the fight against childhood hunger:

  • Donate money – a $1 donation provides one sack supper for a child in West Michigan.
  • Decorate a brown bag – sack suppers decorated with positive messages and illustrations help to brighten a child’s day.
  • Donate an item - baggies, fruit, pretzels, cereal and more.
