As art takes over Grand Rapids, we'd like to introduce you to a beautiful creature.

Meet Scoot from Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is "Purrrfect Friday," where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home. This week, we're spotlighting Scoot.

Scoot was born in August of 2010.

Before he came to Crash's Landing, Scoot had spent his entire life in a cage at another rescue.

Scoot faced a big adjustment at Crash's Landing. Not only was he free to walk, but he also shared space with over 120 cats.

After an initial adjustment period, Scoot has really warmed up!

Scoot would make a great addition to your family!

Can't adopt, but still want to help?
