A major storm this week is expected to bring 20-foot waves to Lake Michigan.

Those waves will bring thousands to the shoreline of Lake Michigan, but you can stay warm and watch the action from wherever you'd like to.

Sustained winds of 45 mph and gusts of 60 mph are expected this week in West Michigan. The storm is expected to hit late Wednesday to early Thursday, with the worst of the winds and the biggest waves coming on Thursday.

Of course, some surfers are excited about the possibility of hitting Lake Michigan for the large waves. It should come as no surprise that Surf Grand Haven has a web cam to monitor beach conditions.
