The Upper Tahquamenon Falls is one the country's largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi. The falls drop almost 50 feet and are over 200 feet across.

Watch and listen to one of Michigan's top tourist attractions, the Upper Tahquamenon Falls.

The falls are worth the drive and worth the stairs you'll have to walk to get a closer look once you're there. It's even worth battling the flies and mosquitoes. In fact, the Tahquamenon Falls Visitor Guide takes a hard approach towards those who might complain about the bugs. The guide says:

The first step is to accept and understand the biting insects. Getting annoyed and frustrated will not make them go away. Tackle them from a position of strength.

In other words, stop complaining.

The best part about this video? No bugs!
